Argenta today announced that Alastair Hay will join the company as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 2 January 2024. To ensure a smooth transition, Alastair will work closely with former CFO Paul Fry over the coming weeks.
Prior to joining Argenta, Alastair was CFO of Pharmanovia, a speciality pharmaceutical business that manages a broad range of branded medicines across 140 markets. As one of the founding members of the company, he helped grow the business over a seven-year period to €300m in revenue and 300 employees across 10 offices globally.
Before Pharmanovia, Alastair was a Managing Director at FTI Consulting, a market-leading restructuring and debt advisory business.
Importantly, for his new role, Alastair brings a wealth of experience working in private equity environments, and his deep domain expertise will be a strong advantage for Argenta as the company continues to deliver on its ambitious growth plans.

Alastair qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Corporate Treasurer (AMCT) with KPMG in London and graduated from Cambridge University.
