We are thrilled to announce the successful installation and qualification of our state-of-the-art blister packing equipment at our Dundee facility.
In January 2024, our Dundee facility, one of three Argenta manufacturing sites approved by both the EMA and FDA for good manufacturing practice (GMP), further expanded its capabilities with the addition of a high-tech blister line as part of its expanded labelling and packaging services. This latest investment is set to enhance our packaging operations, ensuring that we continue to meet the evolving needs of our customers and the market.
The successful inauguration of the new equipment is a testament to the excellent teamwork of our cross-functional project team. With their expertise, the first batch of product was seamlessly blister packed for stability and clinical studies in early February, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards operational excellence in animal health pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The new blister line not only boosts our current manufacturing efficiency but also opens the door to additional commercial opportunities. The increased capacity is perfectly timed to support the anticipated launch of an eagerly awaited product in 2025.
