The Argenta Global Leadership Team assembled in Lawrence, KS, USA on May 13–15, 2019 to meet and discuss the future of animal health with customers and thought leaders from industry, and to start shaping the strategy for Argenta in its next phase of growth. Not only is the US $30 billion animal health industry growing at 5-6% per annum, it is also changing rapidly as larger companies are spun off from their human health parents and seek new sources and pathways to innovation. According to Stonehaven Consulting AG, there have been over 600 new entrants into the sector in recent years. Collectively they are changing the way innovation and new products come to market, presenting both risks and opportunities for all industry players. It was great to gain insights from Aaron Schacht, Fabian Kausche, Craig Tooman, Ernst Heinen and Stonehaven Consulting AG, and valuable to have our Argenta Global Leadership Team together face-to-face to develop a robust strategy that will guide us in our journey.
