Argenta today announced that Jocelyn Brown will join the company as its new Chief People Officer, starting immediately. She will succeed Julie Maude, who decided to leave the company to pursue other opportunities in New Zealand. Jocelyn will join Argenta’s Executive Leadership Team and reports to Will Downie, CEO. To ensure a smooth transition, Jocelyn will work closely with Julie until June 2, 2023.

Jocelyn is a highly skilled Human Resources (HR) Executive, with over 20 years’ experience across the full breadth of the HR function. She brings valuable experience, including leadership development, cultural transformation, and change management.

Jocelyn has worked in international, fast-paced environments, at organisations that were going through periods of significant growth. Prior to joining Argenta, she was Chief People Officer at ViiV Healthcare, a global specialist healthcare company dedicated to researching and developing medicines for HIV, where she led a team of HR professionals across multiple countries. Before ViiV Healthcare, Jocelyn was with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) for 14 years in various HR roles.
