LONDON, 30 January 2023 – Argenta, the only combined global contract research organisation (CRO) and contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) specialising in animal health and nutrition, announced today the appointment of Peter Lord as General Manager of Argenta in New Zealand.

Peter has been with Argenta for over 13 years as Global Head of Supply Chain. Recently, he stepped into the role of Interim General Manager of Argenta’s manufacturing site in Fort Dodge, IA, USA, where he provided excellent leadership.

Stephen Sibson, Global Head or Manufacturing at Argenta said: “Peter’s extensive knowledge of the industry, strong customer relationships, and ability to build and manage high-performing teams, make him the right person to further advance Argenta’s operations in New Zealand.”

Peter will take over from Jeremy Pepping, who served as Interim General Manager since December 2022. Jeremy will return his focus to his permanent role as Head of Technical Services.

The site in Manurewa, Auckland, New Zealand, is home to one of Argenta’s EMA and FDA GMP-approved manufacturing facilities and houses Research & Development teams that focus on formulation, analytical, packaging, and process development, as well as novel drug delivery technologies.
